Biography


 

Ciaran is an Irish actor who has worked in film, theatre and TV in Ireland, America and the UK for more than fifteen years. He studied drama at the Circle in the Square theatre school and the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City. He made his professional debut in Dublin in the Gate Theatre’s award winning production of Uncle Vanya, translated by Brian Friel, which also ran at the Lincoln Centre in New York. His most well known work has been in the US TV show ‘Alias’, ‘Fair City’ for Irish TV in which he played the character Anthony Brady for several years and most recently on Irish TV he played the Irish revolutionary leader Padraig Pearse in a mini series about the Irish revolution titled ‘1916 Seachtar Dearmadta’ (The Forgotten Seven). He is also a proficient voiceover artist and he was the voice for UNICEF for their advertising campaigns in Ireland and the UK for three years.
